Tipping Your Venue?

Tipping is part of any event. Some vendors will automatically add gratuity, and others will make it optional. If you aren’t sure, check your contract or reach out to your vendor. At Crooked Steeple Hall and the 1812 Pierce House, we won’t expect or add gratuity. However, if you enjoyed the services provided by our staff, we recommend you tip equal 1-2% of the total amount paid for the venue with staff, and then multiply it by the number of staff members that day.

Venue Staff Tipping Examples:

  • If the venue price for your wedding is $5000 with 4-5 staff, we suggest a tip of between $50-$100 per staff member.

  • Or a bridal shower that cost $1000, we suggest a tip of $10-$20 per staff member.
