With a long standing history in Winterport, the story begins over a century ago as a quaint local church complete with a beloved crooked steeple. Over the years, the space has played host to many special moments in the town's history before undergoing renovations for the past four years.
Preserving the original woodwork and tin walls, there is no shortage of distinct detail. Thoughtful modern touches have brought Crooked Steeple Hall back to its glory where couples will find the perfect place for hosting an event of a lifetime.
With the recent extensive renovations, Crooked Steeple Hall will be complete in the summer of 2021. Crooked Steeple Hall and the Suite retain their historical elegance from the time it was built while offering modern amenities. With an open, flexible floor plan, onsite bridal suite, kitchen facilities, and separate cocktail and afterparty spaces, couples can create their wedding vision for up to 200 guests. Due to COVID-19, for the safety of our couples and team, we are booking events and weddings starting January 2023.

The bridal suite inside Crooked Steeple Hall can play to host up to 4 guests, or for a bride and groom who prefer privacy to use as a newlywed suite.

The Union Meeting House located right across the street, with two levels of stepped lawns and 3 sets of granite steps. Perfect for pictures or as your ceremony site. We are happy to coordinate a ceremony there.
