Share Your Love Story with the New York Times
Wanna share your love story with the world… or at least with New York Times readers? We hear so many unique, feel good, beautiful love stories all the time from couples at Crooked Steeple Hall that deserve to be shared. So we’re sharing this amazing opportunity we came across with the Crooked Steeple Hall fam.
The New York Times is looking for couples with engaging and diverse love stories to feature in its Mini-Vows wedding announcements column.
To be considered for the column, couples must be getting married at least six weeks from submission of their application. The application requires a detailed account of your love story and wedding.
If your story piques the interest of the editorial team, a reporter may contact you and your partner one week before or after your nuptials for a more in-depth phone interview so that they could learn more about your love story.
The Mini-Vows column is then published within approximately two weeks of your ceremony. If you are not selected for publication, the Times will hold your story for possible use in another type of feature in the future.
There is absolutely no guarantee that your submission will be published but hey, what do you have to lose? Submit your beautiful love story today.
And if you happen to be getting married soon and are looking for a beautiful destination wedding venue, check us out our beautifully restored Crooked Steeple Hall in Winterport, Maine.
